I love everything that Jim Broadbent does, however, my favourite at the moment is Johnny Depp. He seems grounded too and an all-around good person, considering what scandal he has been this past year and yet remained strong all throughout. I admire his courage and patience.

My fav film ACTOR (i.e. celebrating their talent rather than their fame) is:-
John Hurt - very diverse characters; simply outstanding.

Oh man, I love John Hurt and Anthony Hopkins
Probably my three favourite actors actually appear together in a film called 'Doubt' - Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Meryl Streep, and Amy Adams. I especially love Adams, she's so freaking talented - it blows my mind that the same actor who played the delightfully dizzy princess in 'Enchanted' also played the seriously screwed up Camille Preaker in 'Sharp Objects' (which isn't a film, I know, but it's still a heck of a performance).

Very true, I'm not sure she's capable of a bad performance.
(Mind you, even she couldn't salvage the abomination that was 'Leap Year', I couldn't even make it to the end .)
