Nice to meet you
I found this place a few weeks back, by searching 'meditation forum', because I was curious to see if there was anywhere that people keeping a regular meditation practise were discussing their experiences.
I find the older style of this forum to be quite charming.
A little about me, I have always had a strong interest in comparative religion and mythology. I am a devout Shakta. I am not Indian, nor was I raised in a religious home, so I am not sure if convert is the right word. But really, Durgadevi is so sublimely lovely, I couldn't keep my mind off her if I tried.
I am still learning Sanskrit, because I just love it.
Patanjali's Yogasutra is one of my favourite books, and this is where I get most of my guidance on meditation. I mention this because I am aware the word meditation means different things to different people.
I look forward to many interesting conversations on all things spiritual.
