What type of kyanite is this
Hi,
As title says, found this beauty in a shop for £15.
light blue kyanite with black kyanite?

I am going to guess that its either biotite ( black mica) or tourmaline. Not out of the ordinary for tourmaline to make it's way into other stones

Kyanite with muscovite and some black mica or tourmaline..
Defo some muscovite on there.. that smokey quartz looking part on the left is muscovite

Looking around on net and I think its Paraiba Kyanite.

I agree. This type is often found with black kyanite and looks like what you have :)

Thinking about it, Tourmaline and Mica love to be with each other. So it could be both of them paired with the Kyanite.
