Yes it’s our human conditioning that places fear and confusion into separation in us. I was one. As a sensitive child, the confusion was certainly a much broader picture playing out. Most of the adults around me, were of a generation that didn’t openly express their feelings, their grief and trauma, so looking into these times where death stepped in, I held a lot of skewed confused feelings around death. Add to the picture, religious conditioning, where my human experience was forced into fearing death because of punishment and fear if God, it was very difficult for the mind/body to deal with and overcome.
One of my key turning points was having that direct experience with spirit, understanding through spirit the nature of all things including myself. my experience had to become a waking walking understanding, simply because there was so muc of my ‘life’ infused in fear of death.

There is nothing, in my opinion, that is original, as the only origin is that which I call “God.” All things come from God and all things must return to God, in my opinion.

Starman,
When one gets out of the way of himself this flow of inspiration can be a regular companion. IMO this humility attracts the grace of God. This humility can only grow when we can sense that we have been chosen as custodians. To think that I am original amounts to a denial that God is the creator…..in appreciation for your posting…….:)

There are advantages to both in-person and online. Online distance is not an issue and more people can attend, while in-person the setting is more intimate,

Thanks for the info, Starman. I will be on the lookout for the next online Death Cafe in Las Cruces if they post on the website www.deathcafe.com.
I agree with you that there are advantages to both in-person and online Death Cafes. I personally prefer the in-person Death Cafes but that obviously depends on the proximity of the Death Cafe to where I live (NYC).
Thanks again for your timely response.
