Good one, Native!~!

I do think after reading, now youtubing, 100s of NDEs for decades...
I see death as a huge adventure - and going Home, myself.
Pain? If that is what is meant to be - ok...never think of that.
I trust God or The System.
I don't know of one female in my family that has not died in their sleep...not one.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Most people who fear death fear that they will no longer exist when they die. Those who have had OBE & NDE are validated by an existence beyond the physical body; whether that experience is indicative of the death experience or not remains a question, but it does say we have a deeper being beyond what we see on the surface in this world. For me it is important to get to know that deeper being now.

I found what Native Spirit said about knowing death right after being born interesting. The thing is most babies, and very young children, have no concept of death. Most gather concepts, religious and spiritual, as they physically and emotionally grow, and become a sophisticated human being. We leave this human life with a lot more concepts and beliefs than we came into this human life with.

I was always amazed working as a nurse in newborn nursery at University Hospital in Denver; how all of the newborn babies were all lined up in their bassinets, no differences, and the same could be said at a cemetery, with all of the headstones on graves lined up, no differences. Newborn babies, and most very young children, do not fear death, so where does the fear that adults have come from?

I view death as a transition, leaving this body once and for all. Death is also very much real, because part of our identity is left behind, that part 'dies'. Not just the body but also aspects of personality. I believe that over time, we gradually lose more pieces of ourselves in the afterlife, as the bits that defined us erode over time the longer we are there.

If you relate this to times past, when physical suffering didn’t have the supportive tools as we do today to support, there must definitely be a great deal of people remembering those times in this current time frame, holding deep fears around physical pain and the suffering endured as part of those experiences.
