Peter Russell gives this talk "The Primacy of Consciousness" and in it he relates a story he heard from Ram Dass.

Ram tells of visiting his brother in a psychiatric facility and his brother asks "Why is it when I tell people I'm God they lock me up and put me on medications and when you tell people you are God people flock to your talks?". Ram explains "Ah, but I tell everyone else they are God too".

I KNOW, right? I have said something similar since the early 70s.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Have you ever looked at the people around you to see them as being you but a you that plays his/her own unique role?

This started months ago when I was walking on the streets and while looking at the strangers, a deep feeling emerged in me: They are all me and I am all of them, each one with his/her unique journey but sharing the same nature of oneness.

That lady who was carrying groceries was me, that lady who was the seller was also me, the beggar was also me, the old lady was also me, the children were also me.

We are all branches of the same tree, there are many branches, but only one tree and all branches emerge from this one to be on their own unique expression of their one nature.

Yep

This is how I see the world and live it.

Once you realize you are the ‘presence’ you can’t see anything as seperate. In the realisation you become it and move in this way and relate to others through this awareness.

Once you realize the universe communicates through everything, you receive, through what you are open to in yourself to yourself.

So ‘know thyself’ ..the rest is your natural movements as open as you are to yourself.

You are me?
You can be if you like, but I am not you. After all we are here to play the game of separation.
Of cause all is One and there is only one, and with this all is connected and interconnected, yet as the leaf is not the root, and the bark is not the leave, even so they are part of the one unit we call tree, I am not you and you are not me. I am sure we have different functions within the One.

it has to do with spending certain amount of time on self-reflection there's a synapse malfunction that happens in the brain I can't remember what the technical term for it is but I had found a video talking about it one time
I'll see if I can find it again

but basically the part of the brain that's responsible for self-identification gets its wires crossed and we lose self-identification and confuse our self with everything else this generally takes about 15,000 hours of self-interest section in order to achieve

We May See Human Lifeform and it's Essence in another; But we Are Not them, neither them us. Because of the Individuality we are Separated. Human's in their Want's Wish to be Gathered together And Use Spirituality to Cope With this Separation. But in Reality, it is a Device of the Divinity that we Cause this to happen, in the same stance we See One another in another; in the same stance we shall Say Namaste: to Welcome and Greet one another in the same Essence that pertains in them as it pertains in us: The Human Form. But Contrary to that their is no Further Connect then this Hope of Connectivity, seen Oneness Does not Or Does Exist. It is a Phantom that we are All Under one Banner and Under one Decision Stemmed up under one Root of the Human World. And as Such we are One; But Contrary to the Digestion we are Separated and Thus Are a Separated People that has Borders and Division. So i Hope You Don't Become too Religious and Consider Yourself to be me, Because in Truth is: You are Miles Apart and in Reality This is not Me. Stop Fantasizing

Ah, I though I saw something from you but couldn't find it, perhaps this was it.

Yes, in a sense, they are a bunch of contradictory statements.

The thing about English is it is widely spoken throughout the world. Which many feel is a bit of a shame because it seems to be one of the most confusing tongues. The problem is that with so many different meanings to the same words, and with so many subtle variations in the way it is spoken, one can tell another one thing, and yet they end up hear something completely different. The trick to use if is one is confused, is to try to understand the different meaning the words have in the different locations and contexts that they are being used. Then one can compare them and see if that confusing statement makes more sense in a different sense of the word or words being used.

Does that help?

Hmmm..... IDK about that, I am not the most interesting guy in the world... it's true. I have to think it would take far less then 15,000 hours of self-interest before my brain would go numb and synaptic mishaps would start to abound.
Perhaps then I am blessed to be so dull.
