You should say going to a spiritualist church and there is lot of Proof there plus I know myself as a medium getting trained in to be a stronger medium I've got proof through and it's nearly put me in the floor of shock put on I was spot on I was with the evidence I give

I don't think religion itself should be blamed for this.
It's the people who join who don't think more carefully before joining are where the flaw is.

Religion could be a good idea, but it doesn't go well with modern society.

To Gem. I don't think you are alone in losing your religious teachings . It's very "normal" as when you were young to abandon religion and be "young" . The only unusual part would be that you felt any regret or missed it.
I think it's part of the "process " of life in as much as we are taught the script then we need to go out and find it out for ourselves and at some point we go back to it or we don't .
We all have choices but those choices should not be made out of guilt.
We are after all, no different to Adam and Eve in wanting to go out and experience life for ourselves !
