What do the steps mean?

My family have all in the home heard steps in the past.

Now I find out that always when I am not at home footsteps are heard by other family members. They are usually far away physically, but still. Also a family member reported a radio being shift on.

I have been pleased now for a long time that there has been no paranormal activity, no poltergeist activity, to now hear what other family members say. They are so used to it so they say it has been going on for a long time, but it is not going on when I am home.

What is the point of these footsteps? Do "good" spirit make them? Or what is it? Could someone please tell me? And why do it to other family members when I am not home?

They all choose to ignore it. They don't go where the footsteps go. It is to me as the way it is described that the one or the ones doing the footsteps do not intend to frighten but just to show "I am here"?

Are footsteps good or bad, basically?

(I have so many experiences before about foot steps but it would make a book)

Want to add this :Before in the past when there was much activity going on I prayed for help and protection. I prayed to anyone who wants to help. I did then not understand that what I should have done was to pray directly to God and let God send out the helpers. Much later I read by someone that if you do not do that all sorts of "helpers" could come.

I was not experienced in praying, if I can use that for an excuse.

There would be lots of steps going on then too.

First time I heard some really aggressive steps was in a foreign old little cottage with other people present and then it stop right in front of us.

Before that I would hear "normal" ghost or spirit steps? in a home and was told they had brought a medium there and the medium had told them it was previous owner who still wanted to visit now and then and if that was OK. They were OK with it. But I mean - lots and lots of steps going on there. Not a day went by without it when I would be there (hanging around), sleep overs etc. Plus I saw a ghost or what it now was very clear one time. If you could go and live in heaven why chose your old house in a time and age when I can imagine life was a struggle?

Then it was the home I am in now. Previous owner confess years later hearing steps too.

I don't like it that someone does that around a child, must known it must be scary but maybe in it's own twisted reality it thinks it is making the child feel secure?

Why not try what the Fox family did in 1848 when they and previous residents of that house, heard rappings. They became rapping Mediums.

Just come up with some way to communicate. For example, 2 steps is a yes and one step is a no and then expand upon that. It might some time to start the initial communication.

See, that's just it. You are dealing with a picture where it seems they don't WANT to go - because of the way they lived their life here. And the "front office" (as I call it) seems to, for some odd reason, be OK with that.

Maybe it IS the former owner ... but what kind of life did this person lead? He may not have been a hard-line non-empathic trouble maker, but it seems he was into stuff he believes he's gonna "hear about."
