Alone
Lonely vs Alone
Loneliness is a modern day reality
Slow strangulation, with us the casualty
But with expectations reduced, no more forlorn
Let us substitute the word lonely with alone
Lonely is externalised, seeking, egocentric
Alone is internalised, detached, divine centric
Diametrically opposite in orientation
Divine love neither judges nor shows hesitation
Pouring out its fragrance for one & all alike, glowing
Unexpectant of reciprocation, always free flowing
So enjoy a coffee with a friend or without
Mindful always of the wayside beggars voiceless shout
Life is beautiful, if we shift the fulcrum to our centre
The door to the divine opens within, just enter!
