Bunny Question about Ramtha

Hello,

I am a newbie here and am excited to find this great forum!

I have been on the spiritual path since several years back and been mainly a zen practitioner, even though I have practiced other spiritual teachings as well.

Recently, I happened to read "Ramtha the white book" and became deeply touched (even though most of the other Zen practitioners consider that kind of channeling books as untrustworthy).

I became interested in Ramtha's other books and audio series, so I searched information on these on Internet and found out instead that there were quite many people (former students of Ramtha's school) claiming the school as a cult and JZ Knight for brainwashing them etc.

I watched then JZ Knight as Ramtha appearing on a talk show on YouTube, but I felt really discomfortable and felt that something was very wrong (I don't know why I felt that way).

Ramtha's teaching itself is really great and it resonates with me, but I can't understand why JZ Knight used fearful and other kinds of queastionable methods at the school (according to the claims by the former students).

What do you think of Ramtha and his teaching (and the teaching material)? I wonder if it is so that Ramtha is "authentic", but that JZ Knigh's own character or ego adds extra things that makes Ramtha's teaching being taught in a weird way...

I don't know if I should buy Ramtha's other books or audio material...

Does anyone know more about Ramtha, his teaching and JZ Knight?

I would be really grateful for any advice or opinion!

Thanks in advance from a zen practitioner in the Far East

Hi there,

I don't know a great deal about Ramtha, but more about channeling and the sort of stuff he/she discusses in general.

My opinion is that most of it is true - the background, and foundations of the teaching. I'm of the opinion that if you read something and follow something channeled that resonates with you, then it resonates with you. Remember that most work that is channeled points to similar key messages - we are all one, love is the answer to most things we call problems in our lives, higher selves, etc.

There must be something to that. I'm not sure about the natural disaster stuff he/she's tried to predict.

Either way, if you haven't already, I'd read Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch - another famous channeled work, and discusses similar things.

hi

i have read many of the Ramtha books , The White Bible , being my first and like yourself, thoroughly enjoyed it as it truly resonated with me. Each book, I read afterwards , still gave me lots of enjoyment and made my heart sing :) if you know what I mean.

Don't let another's opinion of the channeller, disengage you from what makes sense to you, because the teachings of Ramtha, the entity, are in my opinion, inspirational and encouraged me to follow the path I chose to walk confidently.

The series....Conversation with God ...is also brilliant, I recommend them too :)

Hi,

Yes all channeled material includes the bias of the channeler's personality. If you can discount the bias and glean the wisdom then purchase the books but not the audio material. The energy in the words from the books is harder to distort that way. An audio has the vibrational tone of the channel which can distract from the message in your case.

Ramtha, what fun from the 80s.
If you felt uncomfortable...trust that feeling.
Each entity that comes though has wise things to say,
but they are not God or angel...they are imperfect, though have some
wisdom to share.
Use your innate inner guidance and you'll do fine.
