Basketball

This is the third dream ive had about basketball recently, so obviously im missing something. I dont play it nor watch it.

I was on a losing team, we were down by a lot. I didnt know anyone, and the smaller than usual court was a spare/storage room in my house that was somehow big enough to play in. Everyone was completly missing shots (throwing airballs). There was a really funny commentary about how it was such a bad game that the ref was the first person to forfeit. Suddenly i was doing really good, making shots, blocking the other teams throws, making an assist giving the other guy a thumbs up, and i even make a clean 3 pointer and highfive my teams bench. We end up just barely winning the game from a crazy comeback because of me. I was perfusely sweating (and was so when i woke). We wind down after the game and it trails off from there.

the basketball theme could indicate that this dream is a modification on those
earlier dreams. for the setting to be in your house is suggestive that the issue
under review is 'personal', and doesn't really involve the external world.
the idea is that, at crunch time, you've come through and become the person
you'd like to be -- exceptionally capable, and a "team-player" who works
well with others to overcome challenges.
the triggering event seems to have been the forfeiture of the referee...
he would be synonymous with a judge in a legal court. after there was
no further judging, your abilities had shown through.
since it was a "personal" dream/story, when you quit self-judging, you can
perform to the standards which you're capable of.
the sweating: exertion can cause that. it could be that your 'higher self'
had provided you with spiritual information that your physical form was
busy incorporating into manifestation.

it probably means that things you have in storage prove to be extremely useful & help you to be a winner when no one else around you has a clue what to do next

You must be right on point there.

I often sweat in dreams and wake up sweating. It's not always from exertion. Sometimes I just sweat for no reason. It only happens when waking up from dreams, like in the last 5 mins of the dream I'll start getting really hotand its not like I have the heat cranked up in my room... But I do think it really helps me remember the dream, and it certainly makes the dream more intense
