Water apocolyptic

I have gone through phases of nightmares since I was a toddler. They are always a reoccurring theme that I eventually come to understand and it passes but I'm struggling right now and overwhelmed by this recent impact of nightmares.

Water, dark water, tsunamis. I do understand that this is a big alarm for emotional disturbance, but I've not been able to get to the root of it. I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience with this theme and what they learned from it

my gut feel is that the vast majority of this energy you sense is simply
NOT your responsibility to deal with. you may well be tapping into a
"collective energy", borne from the souls of thousands/millions of other
people. this would mean, essentially, that you have a psychic ability to
sense energies. let the emotions flow near or through you... only deal
with the little bit that has significance for you personally.
