greetings!
Hello!
My name is Christian, I'm Italian but living in Spain.
I've never been a religious person, although I was raised as catholic.
Since I was a child I created my own spirituality: with time I realized that some of my theories coincided with other people's ideas about the universe, it's like I've always known it since a very early age, maybe from a past life.
I studied some Hindu literature and religion at University, of all religions, Hinduism and Buddhism are those that are closer to my view of the Universe.
Still, I'm not religious or following any particular belief, I know the things I know from heart.
I also love quantum physics, it's incredible how science can get close to phylosophy nowadays.
We were raised believing that everything we see is everything that exists, that everything was created by random statistics, that things cannot be different or we're just "new age people" making unscientific statements.
Still science cannot explain the vast majority of the very basic questions. It made our existence very meaningless (we exist for the sake of evolution, that's all).
I have lost my father very recently and all of a sudden due to a heart attack, less than a month ago. In my family, we have a long tradition of dead relatives coming to visit to say goodbye. It happened to me too. It was beautiful and incredible. I will talk about it soon in another thread.
