Manifesting desires.

Hi everyone. Has anyone noticed this thing with manifesting desires? You could want something so badly but it's not until you don't want it anymore and don't care anymore that it magically manifests.
It's a strange thing isn't it? Do you just be grateful and receive it anyway?

Thinking about what Abraham/Ester Hicks say it's something along the lines of wanting it too much. To the extent that your energy isn't clear anymore as you're efforting, kind of pushing, in your haste or desire or urge or need to get it.
When you let go your energy sorts itself out, becomes 'fluent' again and then what you had asked for can come in.

The art of surrender ( which is letting go) is part of manifesting.
When you have total faith and trust that it will come, that it will be given, that you will get what you need (not the same as what you want!), manifesting becomes much easier.

Problem is that having that total faith and patience and belief etc. is usually quite difficult, hence manifesting not working smoothly for most.

Very simply; wanting something very badly is like not allowing it to manifest because wanting is like grasping and trying to grab at something; while letting go of what we want is like opening our hand ready to receive.

We send our longing out into the universe, completely let go of it, and trust the universe to fulfill it in no certain way. Things often do not manifest the way we think they will, too much longing, or expectation, can get in the way of us seeing the way the universe has delivered what we want. We can miss what we want by expecting it to come a certain way or at a certain time.

I think the ‘don’t care’ is often that things have more to align too, through what is in creation of one’s life as a past, present future arrangement all happening simultaneously. Even as we ‘think’ our creation it either comes through our stream as part of an already ‘in design’ creation we’ve weaved enough, or we perhaps are still in the dream weaving process, so as the creator no longer ‘holding on’ ‘desiring’ you will often open up much more than previously thought had to be.

Placing all our energy on manifestation is better aligned to you as an open vessel. Continually letting go..continually opening in new ways. Gratitude is a lovely place to reside in for what is, as it is.

Desire is summoning. ...open to the harmony of the vibration of your desire or not.

As the desires are being summoned through you, and you go with the flow, you thrive, but if you use
things to be your excuse for not going with the flow, you are arguing for your limitations.

....go with the flow, which means nothing more than finding vibrational harmony with your own desire,
and letting the Universal Energy that your desire is summoning to it flow to it, through you.

~Abraham-Hicks

"Wanting something badly" ensures you won't get whatever that something is, because the "wanting badly" keeps you focused on how you don't already have it, it's not here yet, you don't know when it might show up, and you can't be happy until you get it.

To want something badly is to be focused upon the lack of it in your life, and thus vibrationally aligned with lacking it. Since you get more of what you focus on, you'll just get more lacking of it.

So when you completely give up on a desire, and stop focusing on how it's not in your life, and quit having painful emotions about its absence, you can finally receive it because you're no longer putting out the vibration of, "I want this, but don't have it, and feel bad about that."

In LoA circles, there's a lot of talk about positive intentions and negative counter-intentions, but between positive and negative is a neutral state that doesn't often get mentioned. You finally got into a neutral state regarding your desire, where you didn't need it or care about it any more, and it was finally able to show up because there was no longer any energetic resistance getting in the way.

You can't set effective intentions from that neutral state, because you need positive emotional charge to launch them, but you can most easily receive what you've intended when you're able to shift into neutral and have no strong feelings about it either way. When you don't need it to manifest in order to be happy or feel good, you get out of your own way, and what you want—or something better, that you didn't even think to ask for—can just come into your life.

You can have pretty much anything you want, as long as you fully believe you can have it—and don't need it.

Key word is ''can''.
You are correct - it took about 2 yrs for someone to pay off the rest of my mortgage with a gift of $100,000.
I had a smile for 2 yrs knowing it was gonna happen...as of it already had been.

YET, I can just think I need something ...and it's there maybe within 2 hrs.
Obscure things...not a safety pin on the trail....like pycnogenol...that was there on a Thrift Store shelf - 2 bottles,
new by Schiff, .89 cents each....
should have been $20 each if I had had time to go to the Health Food store on this 3 hour trip.

Or the money I needed (left on the gum shelf) at a counter, forgetting my purse.
I could go on ...when you are in the flow with your Core Beliefs that God or the Universe is there FOR you...things change.
There's a Formula...part of it is your Core, Rock Solid Beliefs.

Why do I tell these stories over and over, slipping new ones in?
To let people know it is possible ...we ARE co-creators with God.
Never have doubt. (Part of The Formula.)

Not necessarily I don’t think. You have desires for a reason and that isn’t to “ not want them “ or not care about them so to speak. The Universe, I believe, gives us desires so that we may experience our greatest joys. When we have them, it is because they ARE meant to be.

What you are speaking about, is that when we think and manifest them with an absence of fear and worry, then they come along. In that respect, it can seem like you’re not caring, but in truth it’s because you are not giving out negativity which blocks them.
