Yes I bought it as soon as it was published.

I rarely muse long before responding. It just tends to pour out.

After I can sometimes learn from myself.

I'd just say here that as far as the Dharma in the west is concerned, rightly or wrongly, I perceive a mood (call it what you will) of "I want it all, and I want it now".

And obviously - karma I guess..... - after over 100 to 200 views, my two threads on Inter-faith have drawn not one response, this despite invitations!

I'm a firm believer in ' When the time is right ' so I'm just enjoying the ride even though the bumps sometimes hurt

I took a gander over there, Honestly, I must say that to me they aren't that inviting to read or respond to.

Admitting that I am "besotted" by Dogen, his writings on this are a constant source of insight.

The Circle of the Way (aka The Journey itself is Home) are potent, evocative phrases for me.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

A lovely passage in The Narrow Road to the Deep North...

Out in the field, a horse, and nearby a man cutting grass. I stopped to ask directions. Courteous, he thought awhile, then said, “Too many intersecting roads. It’s easy to get lost. Best to take that old horse as far as he’ll go. He knows the road. When he stops, get off, and he’ll come back alone.” .........Arriving at a village, I tied a small gift to the saddle, and the horse turned back.

Beautiful. Everything is there.
