i have found for me harmonics to be one of if not the best tool. i always use harmonics when i meditate if i can. i also use my throat in the same way.

Singing bowls can make some wonderful music.
I have been playing various bowls along with a bong.
I would like to perfect some music and start it off by blowing a conch shell. A Tibetan Temple would be better but I haven't seen any of the long ones which takes two people to play.
