What happens to the body once it dies?
What happens to the body once it dies?
If someone was in a fire and the body went to ashes, what would become of the image? Could it manifest again?

It does not matter what happens to the physical body at the time of death, except a person may
consciously respond to what their body is going through. Reincarnation means a new body, one that
has been fashioned by kundalini energy and not by the ashes or other materials from the previous body.
It is kundalini which brings together and grows our physical body in our mothers' womb.

Image remains on photographic papers. No. IMHO, it will never manifest again except in someone's dreams. The 2 x 10^25 molecules of my current body will never come together again. The molecules disperse and join millions of other living and non-living entities.

Yes it could and has happened in the case of physical resurrection. Although not so common in the past, resurrection is becoming more common now. Typically this only happens when the death occurred recently, such as the many NDE accounts.
Usual circumstances are that each manifestation is a unique aspect of God, living its expression, and passing back into its soul. Unless bodily resurrection is a learning opportunity selected by the soul, it has no need to re-experience the exact same manifestation.

As soon as the body dies your soul carries on your body if cremated goes to Ash. or you get buried
your body is only like an overcoat to carry your soul

I won't touch the God or soul idea since I am an atheist. But NDE is not resurrection. It is revival of bodily functions. I remember, there has been a case where the person was revived some 45 minutes after the accident in which the person was buried under ice.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

The question of poppin' outta the ol' bod, ehy...
That may be more at what would the ownself be programmed to and/or want to do upon such(?); within reason, though, simply how things are setup.
The bio-chemo-electro-magneto-physiological genomic offshoot, of the nonphysical ownself, hence, the incarnational embodiment, is merely as such.
So, when oneself is done, as indicated, as well as the consciousness experienced with the nonphysical self outing from it and after, many variations there can be; knowledgeable advancement and consciousness, often, have factored in.
Out for now
