Sweet Dream

Hello,

This morning I had one of the cutest dreams I can ever remember having.
In this dream I was walking along with this guy I absolutely know nothing about, only that I have seen him on some videos. From what I can tell, he's very shy and quiet and in this dream it was the same. His friends forced him into a funny costume, and made him walk around town. For some reason, I felt like in this dream we were dating, and decided to bear the embarrassment and walk with him. Our arms were linked together as we walked through the streets in the night as his friends walked behind us and mocked him. He didn't talk to me at all and we didn't speak, but as we were walking, he grabbed something from his sleeve. It looked like a business card, but it had something else written on it. It read to the affect of, "A relationship is hard to maintain, but no matter what happens, I hope we can always be friends."
I held on to him tighter and we put our heads together, and smiled. This continued on and his friends took noticed. They seemed to pity us and walked ahead of us to give us privacy. We kept walking until we got to this house(?) where he works with his friends. It was night so they wanted it safely locked. There were some chains on the iron, and the shy guy was to close it. He wasn't doing it right because when I checked to see how secure it was, it looked like the gate opened enough that a person could squeeze through it. I began to unlock and unchain it, but woke up before I figured how to wrap the chain around effectively.

What did this dream mean? It was so cute to me, and it brightened my day up.
Before this dream, I was also dreaming about my old best friend, and that we were eating cake. She saved a really big piece of chocolate cake for me.

It is possible you have a romantic attraction to this person but I think that maybe the dream was trying to clue you in to a side of your self that needs some work (business card) There is a part of you that is shy and insecure and vulnerable to what people say feeling judged. But if you work to be your own best coach and friend you can make peace with this insecurity and not need to keep it all bottled up inside. Feeling vulnerable and insecure keeps us from venturing out into the dangerous world where we might get hurt. It is safer to stay behind locked doors but then we never really risk anything which means we never really reach our full potential. Allowing ourselves to be vulnerable from time to time and take risks that are scary will help us live life without fear and with abandon where our greatness can shine. So I kind of think a part of you has gained enough confidence in yourself that you can be done with need to hide yourself for fear of being judged. I think a good sign you are ready to break out of your shell and start to become your authentic self. Good dream.
