The Lost Shore
I come to rest
on the lost shore
daylight dawns
I had been washed up once
on another shore at another time
but the rays of light here
are of another time and all time
all knowing light that also dawns
here on this lost shore
the lost shore is the last shore
however, lost for awhile to
human weaknesses and strife
but illumed when all is laid down again
the sands of time wash themselves away
I come to rest again on the lost shore
what a clown i have been
daylight dawns
And breaking waves lap
Out in wide pools.
