Jewish Hand-reading (Palmistry)
More specifically this hand-reading or palmistry comes from the Cabala which is an esoteric part of Jewish practices. This rabbinical practice is elaborated on in the book Jewish Hand-Reading by Dr. Matthew Lemberg. It has to do with the Jewish Tree of Life. Dr. Lemberg explains that the Palmistry is derived and/or used in conjunction with that diagram. In other words, the 10 sephirots seen in the Tree of Life. For example, let's take at random the Gevurah. When looking at the Palmistry, the Gevurah hand refers to discipline, such as children when they are in their formative years, during which they are impressionable. And in adults, it can refer to sexual abstinence. I suppose such men would be adept at practicing celibacy. (Or maybe they have a testosterone problem.) After all, we know there are many Yogis who practice such abstinence. Anyway, this Gevurah is one of the 10 palm-prints which correspond to the 10 sephirots of the Tree diagram.

Let me relate the situation of my own ring-finger. If the ring-finger is considerably longer than the index-finger, then it indicates Creativity and artistic ability. That certainly applies to me due to my ring-finger's length. In my case, my creativity is not being a painter or sculptor but instead the ability at inventing creative solutions to my everyday survival, thinking outside of the box, even to the point of bizarreness. In other words, I would be seen as an Eccentric.
That goes along with my Sun-sign, that is, the mount located right below my ring-finger. The vertical line in my Sun-mount is prominent, very pronounced, meaning luck or success with money. As a result, I've never had any struggles with money. No, not a millionaire but always ample money for shelter, food, and health care.

Hey thought that was Interesting so I looked at my hand and found that my ring finger was indeed longer than my index finger. I am an artist and have also spent my whole life creating various things, so that tallies with what you have said!
I have also, never had and big struggles with money either, ie always had enough for my needs.
So if you are an eccentric then probably I am as well ha ha
I wonder if you are a lateral thinker? Have you read any of Edward De Bono books? They should give you some idea. They are excellent.

Just checked my hand too - my ring finger is longer than my index finger and wow, it really matches what you're saying! I've always been drawn to creative thinking and finding unique solutions to problems. And like you both mentioned, I've been blessed with steady financial flow - not wealthy but always enough for what I need. It's fascinating how Jewish hand-reading connects these traits to the Tree of Life. Have you noticed any other interesting connections between finger lengths and personality traits? 🤔

I was fortunate to study the Kabbalah for more than a decade under the supervision of Rabbis. It seems Christian Gnostics write it with a “C” (Cabala,) esoteric
Hermeticist and what are called Occultists, write it with a “Q” (Qabbalah,) and I was taught by Rabbis to write it with a “K” (Kabbalah.) It does not matter how
it is written.
I am familiar with Jewish Kabbalistic palmistry, in fact there are so many divination tools in the Kabbalah. The Major Arcana of Tarot fits on the 32-Paths of the
Tree of Life, and the Tree of Life diagram also interfaces with the human body. The Tree of Life can be found in a drop of water and it also can be found in the
cosmos.
The Kabbalah is filled with ageless wisdom, it is in many ways the foundation of western mysticism, just as yoga is the foundation of eastern mysticism. I find
palmistry very interesting and in studying my own palms things have worked out for me just as predicted. It is amazing the roadmaps we have on our physical
body.
