Fruits and veggies combat cognitive decline, depression as per research

Found these research articles stating that fruits and veggies combat cognitive decline, age-related depression.

Good reasons to go vegetarian or at least a higher proportion of vegetarian food in one's diet in middle or old age. As Hippocrates stated, one's food and diet is the best medicine against disease.

A study by UNSW Sydney’s CHeBA found that higher fruit and vegetable intake is linked to lower depression symptoms in adults aged 45+. Using data from over 3,400 twins across four countries, the research highlights dietary fiber, vitamins and micronutrients as key factors. Results emphasize the role of diet in mental health.

In summary, our findings support the potential protective roles of vegetables and fruits in maintaining cognitive function and slowing cognitive decline among Chinese and US middle-aged and older adults. In particular, cruciferous vegetables, green leafy vegetables, and red/yellow vegetables may be the major contributors.

Organic and allotment grown stuff have proved to be superior for me, the stuff you get in supermarkets seems in the main to be low in nutrients, just grown for looks imo.

I am glad so much research is coming out in favor of fresh produce. Thank you for your sharing πŸ’šπŸ’—πŸ’›

There is a Dr. Robert Morse who has treated many patients, and helped lots of others with his free teachings and Q&A online. He's made like over 600 videos addressing people's questions on youtube. He is spiritual too, wonderful God-given man. πŸ’ž

Well, in his earlier years he was trying to treat patients and giving them tons of vegetable juices.. til he discovered that certain conditions only responded to fresh fruit. Apparently it has a number of things going for it. The higher water content average, the natural sugars, and supposed electromagnetic lifeforce energy being stronger are some reasons. I guess that our brains and nervous systems need what they offer to more fully heal.

Dr. Morse had patients that were able to walk after fruit consumption but vegetables wouldn't do it.. It makes sense since the brain and nervous system are so energetic. He has helped people recover from stage 4 cancer and other perilous conditions that weren't given any hope by the mainstream medical field..
