Crystal spheres on Selenite (carved) stands?

Would placing a crystal sphere (example, rose quartz sphere) on top of a carved selenite crystal stand/holder be a good idea?

could it cleanse it non stop? is it the ultimate hack? to automate cleansing

or maybe it can impact the main sphere's energy? maybe no definitive answer hmm

sometimes i'd gift some nice crystal spheres but i know they won't cleanse it often or at all so..

It would help cleanse & charge it if need be but aside from that also add the beautiful angelic energy of selenite to it.
You can also gift people selenite as that never needs cleansing.
But if you want to gift people something and you know / suspect they won't take proper care of it, why not give something else?
You also have responsibility for the crystal in that sense. Crystal require some care, period.
It's kind of like giving someone a beautiful plant, knowing / suspecting they'll never water it so it will eventually die.
Then a plant isn't the right thing to give.
Just a thought...

Apart from that, a selenite stand would be great, would look lovely as well!
