My experience ---the more you meditate - the simpler, more quiet your mind gets ---
it 'can' allow images from the past to come to you.
Or maybe that's just me!

It happens to me especially when I meet someone that clearly was from a past life! And we both know it!
When you read about past lives often and even NDE's, it does put you into that 'space' it seems.

You know, like if you want a red shiney new car badly---
you see them everywhere!
It opens your mind or something.

An idle, passing desire doesn't do that, tho.
Also, it doesn't happen upon demand --so have patience.
