Love has set me Free.
Or maybe you can say that the law of Love
has replaced the law set in stone.
There are many, many verses that state the same. Here are a couple:
Quote:

1 Peter 4:8 NIV
8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
1 Corinthians 16:14 NIV
14 Do everything in love.

Yes!
And that frankly is an affront
As in - What? You don't recognize the Crucifixion and all it stands for?
I mean it hurts people's feelings and attacks what is held as the most sacred thing on Earth!
And probably in their heart of hearts.
I believe both sides should trend kindly and gently.
Telling people to REPENT! Repels them; not kind or gentle. This is off topic tho...but Unseeking said
he was done here, I mean, he seemed to have gotten what he needed.

I personally like this Verse
James 4:17

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Speaking for myself...yes, that would certainly be me missing the mark.

Yes lovely verse sky123, there are many and there is scripture that says the law is written on the Heart which operates with our conscience.

Then there is this lovely verse that many may not use.
Hebrews 8: 12For I will be merciful to their iniquities, And their sins will I remember no more.

There is freedom from guilt, shame and condemnation knowing sins are remembered no more.

I wouldn’t quote Christian scripture, but I would quote the prophet Jeremiah who said the same thing, in just about the same words.

Thanks RabbiO it was a blessing reading 3 verses from Jeremiah
Chapter 31 verses 33, 34 and 35.

For briefness and forum Etiquette I will only provide this one from Jeremiah CH31.
Quote:
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord.’ For they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them,” saith the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Though I really grinned when I read verse 35.
Thanks for the tip.
