Psalm 51 is one persons, personal experience.

The person had done some terrible things.

Having someone 'killed' so you can marry his wife is not a very nice thing for a person to do and such conduct should not be condoned.

This was and is the greatest experience I ever had, nothing can even come close to this experience, this world feels in black and white when I think about that experience, as if this is not even the true thing, just a pale imitation of the real thing.

We are here, Man, as the evolved organic animal situation.
But as stated in Rev. 12:4, we started out as angelic.

Adam, created in Paradise, was a spiritual, or "Angelic" creation, and being.
Things changed...
Today, as prophesied, we are facing the decline of our planets environment, and resources due to?

Greed and money.

When somebody speaks from their heart of the rotten things they had done, which is relayed in Psalm 51, I would say it is literal.
Having a person killed so you can marry their wife should not be condoned.

Morpheus,
Revelation 12 is generally not interpreted that way, especially claiming we started out as angelic. Can you provide some references for that comment?

This is what I get and I'm kinda talking to Unseeking--rem I was a born again, Charismatic Christian at one time...
Bap in the Holy Spirit, (and may I say, wow), pray in tongues, am a healer and
have been healed at an 'altar call' from a years and years long hip issue after much physical therapy...all gone since 2009 still...so
I do think I know what I'm talking about ..I'll toss in a devout Catholic at one time..
said the Rosary every evening...that kind of Catholic.
Went to morning Mass thru High School received communion..back in the day when you didn't eat for an hr beforehand
or after....hahaha.
Explained as, "Ya didn't want the Lord in your tummy with your food, do ya?" No. All very holy feeling. Very reverent. (And still sacrificing...)

When a person believes we are sinners at birth and by repenting sincerely and accepting Jesus' sacrifice of releasing them ...
Christians feel a wonderful feeling.
It's so humble and sweet to bow to God in this way...

To even think or hear from someone that we/they were NOT born in sin...seems arrogant and
certainly blasphemous..and so this is why Christians get heated.
They love God, they are
deeply humbled and moved by the sacrifice of Jesus...and are satisfied with this entire scenario ---of
the Father wanting or needing this blood sacrifice. Period.
They do not care to hear anything other than this. Lemme tell ya.
And certainly secretly or outwardly believe you need to believe
that Jesus died for your sins and to repent OR 'No Heaven for you'!

Their warnings to repent are based on this solid belief they are trying to safe your eternal soul -
it's a beautiful thing!
Tho, it is off-putting; often sounding mean and bullying, accusatory and condescending...forgetting to embrace the idea of finesse or charm or diplomacy.
(I have been at an Easter dinner hearing my Christians friends come to this realization that they are actually turning people off.
They truly had no idea!!!)

Re Psalms! Read David's realization in Psalm 139!
And That Man --what a great story. I am so glad this happened to you!!

@ Miss H ... sure, no offence intended to faith systems. So, with the word ‘sin’ taken as a surrender prompt, in reverence ... path of Bhakti, commonplace among Hindus ...

What I’ve seen Christians interpret it as however, didn’t seem this way, unless they feel it but don’t wish to open up.

Either which ways, as they say, silence is golden. From my side, this topic is closed.

Yes, sin is a 'prompt' to humility and reverence to a Higher Power to bow to and forgive them.
Yes, Well, put!!! Like a Bhakti.

What I do notice from my Christian buddies is: they then do not embrace
their own beliefs, lol, and thus, why I had to counsel many ---
And thanked by spouses...ha...
to now open to the joy of the love flowing to them and that they must accept their inheritance as heirs of Christ now.
Be happy, joyous since you're free and forgiven and so adored!!!
(Stop with your struggling! Do you like when your spouse struggles accepting your love or your new doggy? No.
''Well, think how God feels when you are scared of Him and ashamed'...gee whiz!)

In the Bible, there are various sins. Some sins were serious and others not.

Today, some claim they are perfect but yet they grow old and we assume they will eventually die. In the Christian aspect, it is sin that is preventing people from living forever. It is claimed that originally mankind could live forever and thru Jesus, that promise will be restored to those who side with Jesus.
