SCARED!
Thank God I found this forum, it has given me some much needed relief!
I have feared for a while that Catholicism or Christianity in genral is the only TRUE religion and all others are false because of miracles in Christianity such as Fatima, Lourdes, Medjugoure, Guadeloupe etc etc.
These miracles have worried me greatly, that Christianity is the only true religion as I cant find similar miracles in other religions!
Thank You and God Bless!

Thank You very much for the replies. Catholicism or Christianity dont suit my views, I like to take parts from each religion, but I fear that there is only one religion God accepts :(

What is your personal view of God, do you beleive God uses fear to express spirituality in the world?

My guides have told me an interesting quote I will share.
"There is no one TRUE religion". We are all one.

Without all the miracles and dogma clouding my views, this would be my personal view of God which would bring me happiness.
I like a God who is loving and fair, one God who belongs to all religions. He would reward us after death with Heaven, not for our religion, but for our actions!
Very bad people would be taught a lesson, but nothing like eternal punishment.
All religions are different paths to God and all contain truths, so a Christian be a good Christian, Muslim be a good Muslim etc etc.
This is what would make me happy in life but my views are being badly affected.

That is a great perspective you have donnn. You will find many people who share your views here. And who will support you and challenge you. There are many who feel that religion can have harmful affects on us.

Why does Christianity teach the sick doctrine of believe in Christ or burn in hell?
What about all the God loving people of other religions?

Hi donnnn,
Yes, why?
Control of the masses?
Greed, power?
Because the God you described is my God, also. No hell, but instead of
actions, as you say - He cares more about our hearts and our intentions, imo.
(We could be in a wheelchair not doing many actions at all. The action being - adoring Him with all our hearts maybe.)
I wonder if reading things from the Other Side ("Life in the Unseen World" by Anthony Borgia, for one example) or NDEs
(near death experiences) might help you to know that there is no religion in the afterlife - it is a man made thing.
But that indoctrination into our subconscious minds from childhood is tuff to break through sometimes.
Fear has a firm hold on thoughts sometimes ---and we know where fear comes from don't we - we old Catholics... and the opposite of fear is love.
And what is God?....
I love Jesus.
I am also a Buddhist, Sikh, Hindu, Krishna, Bhagavad Gita loving,
happy person, by way of introduction.
Miss Hepburn

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.
