I emphasize practice as opposed to belief……

I've come across a few who definitely think God only dwells amongst the ones who have ticked all the Christianity Boxes
Practise as opposed to beliefs is worth emphasizing, you will know them by their fruits.

Does Allah dwell among non-Muslims?
Who does Yahweh dwell among?
Is Buddha around non-Buddhists?

Happiness is the result of an enlightened mind whereas suffering is caused by a distorted mind.

It is not Allah, Yahweh nor Buddha who put up walls: it is us.
Does Allah dwell among us?
For the most part, I would say "Yes". Allah, in English, means God.
But how many people would acknowledge that?
It appears that seperation plays a role more then what we might imagine.

I like structuralist psychology more than gestalt psychology but I like the word gestalt. The whole is more often the object of perception than the parts, but the parts can be important to be aware of as well. I'd say structuralist psychology and gestalt psychology are more similar than different but some gestalt psychology theories go too far in my view, too absolutist. Some go against common sense to me. Like a whole can have attributes not defined or created in anyway from it's parts. The perceiver is a part!
There is that idea a human cannot be formed from the natures of it's parts, but spirit cannot be known as a part, consciousness or a soul or whatever one calls it cannot be perceived with anything physical. It cannot be detected by a physical instrument or object. So how can one know the whole is not the sum of it's parts if one has no way to see or know the most important part of all, the "ghost in the machine."
