Let your cup fill
To the brim
With darkness
For it is within the darkness
That the beauty from within
Bursts though the margins
And envelops life outside
With light.
The truth of your name
Has been withheld…
It is now the time to speak and to tell them that
You are the bringer of life…
And it is in knowing you and seeking out your company
That your beauty shines through.
So, hold me right here,
Bringer of light
And with the strength of your shadow
Let your words flow
Out towards my heart and in that space
Let me trace your flame
Right back to
The truth of your name.
And so…the god which defamed you
Is now imprisoned in chains
And now, you can rightfully reclaim your place
And reclaim your name… free from your history of shame…
I love your darkness as much as your light
For it is both the light and the darkness which
Created my life.

Hey you... thanks for stopping by.
I keep forgetting why I wrote this...
For some reason an aquaintance of mine and I were talking about Christianities bad guy satan and lucifer...(apparently different figures who somehow got a bit mixed up)?
Anyway, it must have flicked a little switch of thinking in my thinking brain organ and resulted in this poem.
It also reminds me of the little saying "come to the dark side, we have cookies" muwhaha.

In darkness, there's beauty too.
Different shades of dark,
Within everything blooms. lol
Or so I'm learning to see.
