My many experiences, (all mind blowing and awe inspiring and humbling), of Oneness
and this Living Spirit that permeates everything...and I mean everything!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

One time I used to teach.

The students, at the end of the course, would evaluate me. Half of the class considered me positive whereas the other half considered me negative.

To reconsile this, I started believing in non-polarity.

What is non-duality?

I know light and dark,
Man and woman
Me and you,
Life and death.

What is non-duality?

I was 4 years old, walking down the sidewalk and saying out loud, "I'm really here!". Suddenly, I experienced life as a Dream, and I was the Dreamer. I thought about telling my parents, but I knew they wouldn't understand. They thought life was real. The experience lasted only a few moments or minutes, but it changed my life.

I remember trying to recreate the experience for about 2 weeks, then gave up. I think the experience came easy at that age because my personality wasn't fully integrated. I had the experience again in early 30s while meditating with a friend. Since then non-duality has been...a hobby/obsession/whatever. Once you've experienced being one with everything, there's not much else to shoot for.

I think it started for me, the seeker, with a disillusionment and dissatisfaction with life and life events. Life in some form or another yields up some form of trauma or frustration, that doesn't add up with what society is espousing. And so a search began for me to find something more authentic, deeper or transcendent.

Even today some years later I think why are people trying to fit this experience of consciousness and life into a little box, desperately trying to squeeze something as vast and mysterious as the universe into our own inventions.. Shrugs but that is what we like to do sometimes.

Hitting absolute rock-bottom. That led me to meditation which led me to consciousness studies which led me to non-duality proper in the form of Advaita Vendanta.
