Can we live in all 7 chakras

Do we generally live in 2 or 3 of our chakras? Is that an okay realization or am I to find a way to balance through all 7 chakras? And if living peacefully in only 2 or 3 chakras am missing elements of true existence?

Hello mkzimmer
I'm not quite sure what you're meaning by living in a chakra. Our chakras, of which there are many (not just seven) are part of our being and operate constantly. Some are developed more than others.

Living with balanced chakras is an admirable goal, researching the topic and learning where you stand with your own chakras is a good place to start.

---

Certain sacrifices must be made before all 7 chakras can be balanced and enlightenment can be reached.

Balancing all the chakras is for someone who is seeking enlightenment. Someone who is seeking enlightenment is seeking to stop the cycle of life and death, rebirth, at all costs, even if it means giving up their family and job, their comfort in life. I don't suggest people seek all the treasures of opening chakras unless they are ready for the sacrifices necessary, just looking at the jewels of mental mastery leads to a strong desire for them and an ignorance or delusion to why they are there in the first place. it's like window shopping at a jewelry store and forgetting that you'll need to work 30 years to get those jewels, a price that doesn't seem worth it after the 30 years are up but seems very worth it at the beginning.

In other words, if you just want material things like peace of mind or to be able to better live in the world then go ahead and seek to improve your knowledge of chakras. If you want enlightenment and release from this material existence then go for the entire thing but be ready with a determination that matches life or death because that's required to balance the last chakra. And theres no point going for mastery of all 7 if your desire is not to breach the final gate, that just leaves a person in a state of suffering, instead just aim to balance all 7 and be satisfied with what you can do (enjoy the window shopping(balance) vs (go for mastery) or commit to buy)

Very nice post! I was about to post something similar, but you explained it better.

Chakras are like 'switches' - some are open, some are closed, some need to be closed so others can open, at the start.

We generally 'live in' the lower 4 chakras. This is our conscious existence - stability and home-base, sexuality and family, feeding the body and livelihood and emotions like love, worry, caring...

Sometimes we make it up to the fifth one through honesty, clear intent, open communication and tolerance.

The last two chakras are for those seeking the spiritual way - seeking enlightenment, wisdom and liberation.

When all the chakras are in balance - they are all switched on, but are neither too 'open' or 'closed' then it's time to work on the psychic knots in the astral body.

I guess you could say that when one has reached Nirvana/enlightenment, they are 'living in all 7 chakras' or you could say they have traversed all 7 chakras - it's the same thing, really.

Sometimes, I'll live in 2 or 3 and the combination produces interesting results - like when I have fully opened my brow chakra and sacral chakra simultaneously and have in-depth discussions about sexual morality, guilt and original sin with angels...

Interesting, opening a combination of chakras... never thought about that before.

What's your stance on original sin with angels? I have a cousin who loves to talk about that because he is a very devout Christian lol.

My stance on original sin with angels is that yes, I have experienced it a few times and I had to let go of a lot of cultural and religious programming to achieve that state - but having done so, it's very beautiful and glorious, but predictable and a bit...well...boring after a while. Total unification with a divine consciousness is much better than having 'angel sex' any day.

Actually if the heart chakra is pretty wide open then all chakras are in balance. The heart is the most important!

What difference is there between a divine consciousness and a regular consciousness?

I recomed you texts by original old Eastern masters. Like Sat chakra nirupana, The serpent power and others, translantion by A. Avalon (John Woodroffe), or Shiva samhita, Gheranda samhita ...etc. Or The secret of the golden flower, Translantion by Ricjard Willhelm.
There are two different spiritual paths on the East. A path to Nirvana = ending cycles of lives and a paths for better life.
Yogis they want the end of exietence must clear all chakras and awaken the serpent power. Yogis who want a better life must open a chakra. But mostly a one chakra. They say that nobody could open all chakras in one life.
The second paths is well described in The secret of the golden flower.
About three months meditation on the Heavenly heart = chakra Ajna for calming and than a years on Anahata chakra (a fleshly heart) until is open.

There is no difference. The awareness is what differs. It's the difference between me staring at an object without blinking for ages and being totally unresponsive to my surroundings....or not.
