Ahh the poor victim of an uneducated palate. Marmite is the Daddy. No ifs or buts.

Marmite for those who do not know is a dark brown-colored savory spread made from the yeast that is a by-product of the brewing industry. It has a very strong, slightly salty flavor.
Children in Britain are generally fed it from the time they are weaned, and most never grow out of it. It has a high B-vitamin content, as well as riboflavin and niacin—and as such is very healthy.

It was in 1902 that the Marmite Food Company (later Marmite Ltd) was set up in Burton on Trent Just down the Road from me. Marmite's mission, then as now, was to share the joy of Marmite-eating and make it available to all those with excellent taste.

It took a while to get the machinery and manufacturing process right, but soon enough they started producing great quantities of the spread that those of us with an educated and refined palette know and love today.

Marmite is loaded with B vitamins, so if your diet is lacking in them, then it would definately help you.

It is 100% vegetarian and is a good source of vitamin B12, which has been shown to reduce the risk of anemia. It also provides riboflavin, niacin and folic acid, and is nearly fat- and sugar-free.

B vitamins benefit your body in all sorts of ways. They help regulate the kidneys, liver and nervous system as well as assisting with skin disorders and boosting energy.

This M'Lud is the opening argument for the defence of Marmite

"fear is the path to the dark side. fear leads to anger. anger leads to hate. hate leads to Vegemite."

Oh O.K I made up that quote, but you get the gist

Well, I've never actually heard of it. But I did check, and it's not available online in the US from what I could find.
