She wasn't able to do it, but a good number of the class could. I couldn't ...!

She felt the more education one had, the less likely one could do this... as it requires a suspension of disbelief.
Changing our subconscious beliefs is the tough-challenging part.

That's why Druids use to take children when they were young.. so the world around them still hadn't influenced their abilities.. I guess the older you are the harder it would be.. which sucks for me lol.. I want to bend spoons.. If I can do that, imagine what else I could do lol It might still be possible. In the bible Peter (was it Peter?) walked on water for a few minutes when Jesus told him he could..

I heard a theory once that Jesus was a druid and while there is quite a bit of evidence in the bible to support this, I wasn't there so how could I know? lol

Well there have been quite a few movies with a similar perspective. That presented alternate belief systems.....

Inception (creative dreaming)
Starman (healing)
Star Wars (yoda & Obiewan)
Forbidden Planet (highly advanced ancient cultures)
Abyss (underwater alien cultures)
Phenomena (healing & precognition)
Powder (healing & PK)
5th Element (power of love)
Watchmen (Dr Manhattans powers of manifestation)

Well yeah, the list is long..... but yes the Matrix was visionary and explored a unique theme and philosophy

Yeah I'm not a 20something, but have been interested in this stuff since
doing LSD in my 20's ......decades ago ....

Age means nothing if one is motivated and willing to change one's belief systems ..... A bit at a time....is all that's necessary.

So now the question becomes:
Is there no spoon? or is there no reality?
I wonder what would happen if you took both pills.. I guess the Alice and Wonderland would disappear then lol

Consider the Spoon Boy - No matter where he is, The Matrix or the Real World, he is "Enlightened". This same concept is brought up when considering if a Person Can Have a Free Mind when they are imprisoned. William Wallace in Braveheart, while being Tortured to Death, yells out "Freedom!!!"

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
