problems with negative emotions in others

I just have such a problem with other peoples negative energy.
All around i feel it i can tell if someones lying to me 9 times out of 10. Although i cant always prove it.
Ive been told im an empath.
Because i have a massivley hightened sense of empathy for others in pain . I often suffer more than they do! I feel pain so accutley for others.

I take on others emotions and feel them inside me. Negative energy makes me feel like a very strong awful sickness washes over me and i feel i physically want to throw up .
When i was a child at primary school i often used to be in the toilet either with a splitting headache or with vomitting. And it was from other peoples stuff.
Please someone tell me im not alone with all this and its normal for an empath. Or am i even sensitive for an empath.?? I feel i should never have been this sensitive and something when wrong in me to make me this sensitive.
My friends call me hyper sensitive and ive hsad a spiritual teacher tell me im too sensitve for the world

I am very physically ill now on account of a very stressful realationship with my mother when i was her sole carer when she had a nervous breakdown and cancer . The stress broke me i feel.

But still i have carers and i cant stand most of them because they are just ordinary people
they are the main people i have contact with because i am housebound with
my illness.
I can only tolerate being around loving people that are healthy minded

Any insights or advice how i can get throguh this life!!!

Hey have you tried using a shield, it should help you feel a lot more comfortable :) And focus on the light in every soul that you meet on your travels through life :)

I often put a mirror around myself so that any negative energy reflects off it and does not enter my space. It seems to work more often than not. Another possibility would be to ask archangel Michael for protection. He is amazing!
