Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Nicely said. This is also a genuine experience as well and part of it, feel it. Everything is genuine. I use to say we're spiritual beings on a human journey but I think spiritual beings on a spiritual journey is more like it. I would imagine as much diversity in spirit as human. After many life times we feel it, know it, understand it.

Bobjob, you seem to be talking in generalities, I am wondering what you think connotes a spiritual experience. I suspect you don't think my story was a spiritual experience since you bring up the word "psychic", although you don't say what you think directly. To greenshade: can a boring experience be spiritual?

If you'd like to know what spiritual cf. psychic is then many of my postings here on SF will explain.

Quite the contrary, assuming you are a spirit being then ALL of everyday is genuine spiritual experience. If you are not a spirit being, then you can't have spiritual experiences.

Of course most spiritual beings incarnating as humans have lost touch with their inner spirit and thus bewilderly go wandering around trying to have spiritual experiences. Sadly for them, the search for spiritual experiences IS a spiritual experience even if they don't recognize it.

Is it not the case that when we are living in-the-body we are human beings? Bodies animated by spirits, not just bodies, not just spirits?

Is it sad?

What they experience is a situation of apparently living without connection to the source and spending time looking for it. As that is likely to be one of the intended myriad experiences of life incarnate - or at least an expected one if not exactly intended - then why is it sad?

If, though, it's believed every human was always intended to remain aware of their animating spirits and journey through incarnate lives constantly aware of the true situation, then something very wrong is going on.

Yes it is, until we say otherwise and I think this is what's behind the 'Spiritual' prefix - being very human after all. When everything is Spiritual, what then?

Your reality is defined by your perceptions, your perceptions are defined by your beliefs and your beliefs are defined by your definitions. 'Boring' is your definition the same as 'Spiritual' is a definition, and so your reality is created. Spiritual enough for you?
