🥳THIRSTY🥳

Today, I was washing out a paint brush when a Humming Bird approached and began drinking the spattered water from one of my fingers. I was intrigued. The bird was not afraid so I expect she was really thirsty. She came and went and did this several times. Finally she left only to come back and drank more water from my finger. Finally, I finished what I was doing and left the water hose running for her.

What experiences like this have others had?

Awww so lovely John. What a beautiful experience. We don't get hummingbirds here, I only wish we did because they are so amazing .
The only time I had a close up and personal experience that was delightful was when butterflies used to land and settle on me when I used to sit out in the garden . Those were special moments ( but show me a tiny little moth and I run a mile !)

Last night, I went to Home Depot which is a huge place that sells building supplies. As I was going by one of the aisles: there was a thump. A young Pigeon had fallen and one of the young female employees was shocked and said "Oh my God, it is dead!" I went and turned the Pigeon over and she started to wake up. She was hurting but could barely move. The employees wanted to put her in a bucket and sit her outside but I said "Leave her alone. If you put her outside, she will be eaten." They left her alone and it didn't take long the Pigeon was able to move slowly out of the way. I hope she survives.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

When I was in high school, I lived in the rural and would walk/run to the nearest village on a regular basis. There were many times in which I would come upon a skunk. Most of the time I would be 1 foot or less away from the skunk. Never got 'skunked'.

Many times birds try to fly into my face. No idea why, but maybe someone seeks attention, more like sign from life.
