What If?

What if everything you were taught religiously wasnt true..? How do you think you would feel if you have passed in flesh and is standing in spirit and the things you were taught to happen didnt..lol.. What are your thoughts on this or what do you think you will be thinking?

It's bound to be somewhat a surprise whatever the case.
As I doubt we can fully appreciate how it will feel to be in a new "universe-plane"
I don't have a religious belief ,but accept what visitors to the afterlife have reported.

Those who deeply meditate may have a better appreciation what exietance W/o a pgysical body feels like... but I feel most of us cannot experience the afterlife as it truly is...(will be for us) through typical spiritual practices.

I've kinda envied those who had near death experiences, as they've had some questions answered about (their present) life's true priorities.
And I tend to accept what they say... that love is ultimately what we need to learn-value. And self realization-actualization a priority.

For anyone contemplating your query, I highly suggest they read some experiences of those who've been there.

a pretty eloquent visitor to the afterlife is jurgen, who's been visiting there over 30 years

This has happened to me before in a way. The first time I was emotionally/mentally traumatized and I looked back on the areas of my life where I did the things I didn't really want to do but did because I wanted to be good and perfect and special in the eyes of everyone(not just God). But I'm a little more fluid. Plus, I'm doing what i want to do because I want to do it and not because I feel like I have to or I'm suppose to and that's a blessing.

Well for me it wouldn't make any difference, I think all religion isn't true, and I don't have any belief systems at all.

I'm with PschoSlice, no problems here but I do realize that religious beliefs have been a fundamental important part of human evolution for without it we had no guide lines; we would still be in total anarchy or sacrificing humans on alters, it’s all a part of an evolutional change to awareness. I do believe we won’t need religious belief systems to keep us in check one day, we will just be righteous without such doctrines but we must have a start for the end to be!!

Love

Its good to be yourself. and not to do something because someone else thinks so.. Its also to be aware spiritually too..

Just to steer away from if religion is or isnt true...but, how would you feel if what you believed in this lifetime to be true about afterlife was not?

Well I don't think there is an afterlife, there is just life.
