one christmas
early on
I bought her a present
it was a see-through heart keychain
with a little pink flower
embedded in the plastic
I couldn't give it to her
so
I carried it around
for a few years
myself
eventually though
it met its end
blithely slipping out of a pocket
into the sand
one spring evening
at venice beach
it was gone
I was sad
sigh

the beach was fun
meditating at night

That is a sad story.
You story reminds me that love should be a celebration and an ignition of happiness.
Not such sad story with so many disappointments.
But of course, I empathize with your journey.

well as much
as I don't like
what happened between us
I did learn
much
from it
like
I never would have known
how nice it is
to be sad sometimes
without all this heartache!

today
he saw once again
the viper
that exists
in some of the self-proclaimed
loving souls
around him
distancing himself seemed nice
for a change...
Oh well
par for the course,
it is not like
he is an innocent
in all this
either
so there were lessons to learn
some easy enough
at least easy enough now
he reflects
but now once again
he is faced once again
with the overwhelming desire he has once again
to just be contrary!
Figures he'll pay attention to that one
for just a little while.
meanwhile the intense cold
is great for meditations!  |

product testing sounds nice...
i presume you mean
consumer products.
i've been involved in testing
mostly in manufacturing
of building systems
ridiculous, well,
i kinda felt like I was being
over the top
