Done lot more work on the Scottish landscape :)
Much was quite fine detailed work that doesn't show up well on a smaller photo but is there nonetheless.
I ended today with blocking in the foreground. These colours will be background & underground for what's going to be painted there.

Lots more work done.
I really struggled to get the colour of the heather the way I wanted it to be.
I've painted heather before but couldn't recall which colours I mixed.
Now finishing touches left to be done.
And deciding whether or not I'm going to leave the heather as is or not.

I finished the painting 2 days ago :)
I've completely re-done the heather, extended the slanted roof a wee bit and some more fine detail in the yellow flowers.
I'm happy with it now!
