oats and blood pressure
Oat ingestion reduces systolic and diastolic blood pressure in patients with mild or borderline hypertension: a pilot trial
Quote:
Results: The oat cereal group experienced a 7.5 mm Hg reduction in SBP (P <.01) and a 5.5 mm Hg reduction in DBP (P <.02), while there was virtually no change in either SBP or DBP in the control group. In the oat cereal group, a trend was observed for a lower total insulin response to a glucose load, suggesting improved insulin sensitivity.

120/80?
I saw another video before by a doctor questioning 120/80 and said some people have to take multiple medicines to get their BP down to 120/80 and often have side effects like fatigue and light-headedness. My BP used to average 135/85 and when my doctor saw it he wouldn't do anything unless it went above 140/90.
Why isn’t anyone addressing this?

I have low blood pressure and I'm tall, so I sometimes have dizzy spells getting up. I went to the doc who send me around town for tests, and nothing wrong, but he wanted to put me on statins (though that had nothing to do with BP). I declined for better or worse.

I found some Ezekiel low sodium bread at the Greenbelt Coop today. Under nutrition facts it says 0 mg sodium. It has to be refrigerated and I found it with the frozen food in one of the store aisles.
One amazon website its says it ships from Whole Foods Market. I went to a Whole Foods store today, but they didn't have the low sodium version.
Its recommended here:

Safeway might have it, too.

I checked the Safeway in Greenbelt, Maryland located at 7595 Greenbelt Rd. today. They have the raisin and cinnamon version (65mg sodium per slice) and the sesame version, but not the zero sodium version.
