A couple of tribute poems for Matt

Time has passed since you went away
Where did you go? Would you rather stay?
Are you a star twinkling in the sky?
Are you the soft breeze stirring up the leaves?

Are you a butterfly fluttering through the air?
Are you a dolphin deep in the ocean?
Or a strong, tall oak somewhere?
Spiritual Forums is not the same without you

It's been a while since you were last here
The brisk air of the holiday season carries with it
Your caring, warm and passionate spirit
Will always be found here ... we couldn't ask for more.

Heavens Bells

Heavens bells are ringing
Signalling the arrival of a new soul
This soul will be greatly missed on Earth
Tears are falling down there

In Heaven the bells are ringing
There's a celebration going on
This soul is being welcomed there
Taken from Earth too soon

This soul will be watching from Heaven
Watching all the loved ones on Earth
Looking after them all from Heaven
Waiting for the day when they're together again

Don't worry Fire, mine's always acting weird

I didn't know Devolution at all, either on or offline. The second poem I worked on alone, the first poem Silvergirl and I wrote together.
