Old promenade

In my hometown there once was a promenade that went along an embankment and it was used for dances. It's now a parking lot over looking another parking lot. The location may have changed but its influence with romance still remained I remember one occasion where the old promenade paid off for me.

I parked where the promenade once was. In the far low parking lot I sighted a car that thought could be driven by my then crush. As it neared, I was able to recognize the car. I thought of making a drive down to see if I could catch her but it would've difficult at best. Then I lost sight of her car. However, a few moments later, I seen her pull into the top parking and then turn down towards me and then amazingly parked next to me. She waved and we walked in together. I had to cash my check and tried to catch her the way out and I had perfect timing. I ended up getting her number.

In recent years, the town expanded the parking lot and lowered the area where the promenade was located. I wonder if the location still influences romance. Do you know of any place with a romantic past though changed still is reputed give good luck?
