It's not a painting that comes easy, hihi. I struggled with the pyramids but in the end it worked out. I'm really happy with 'em myself! 
Problem I had with the Sphinx until today was using 3-4 different reference photos and not realising that the tiny differences in angle caused the perspective of my work to become off. And each also had shadows in different places. Totally threw me off.
The face will be fixed of course, for now I decided to give it a rest and get the body right first. Will do finishing touches on that, then it's back to the face.
Not switching between photos anymore has helped for sure! I've settled on 1 and going from there.
The same with the colour. In some photos it's almost golden, in others it's very pale yellow. I've now decided on a pallet and am sticking with that. Meaning the face's colour will also change accordingly.

WOW fairy. You are so diverse with your artwork.
And of course we know you love crystals.
Can just "see " you in a little shop selling crystals and your artwork.

I have thought of selling crystals, hihi. Indeed a little shop, special crystals only. Especially since I'm not someone who specialises in one thing, so it would indeed be a combination of crystals, artwork, the occasional workshop, my books and whatnot.
So you seeing that is quite spot on!

Oh but it would be my dream.
A little shop like that.
I've been in business with my own shop before, but it all went wrong LOL...
I did sell crystals too but I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I've had an online wicca & spiritual/new age shop for 6 years. Couldn't make a living of it, unfortunately, but for a number of years it was doing okay. Then we had the global economic crash around 2009 I believe, and shortly thereafter things went downhill.
I'd grown tired of it myself so I closed up shop after an extended period of 'on sale' to get rid of stock and try to at least get the massive investment back that I'd made in stock. Partly succeeded.
I decided to never ever go there again! I liked purchase and sales, but the bookkeeping etc. pffff... So not my thing!
My country is so expensive. If you start a business you have to pay a number of things before you've even started?! Tax is insanely high. It's made too difficult for new entrepreneurs to make a successful start.

An update of Egyptian Dream. The body part is mostly done now. I've done a lot of corrections and tweaks.
What's left is the head/face. And of course the foreground but that's not going to be a problem.

It's really difficult to run a business. People don't realise about the overheads ands extortionate fees for everything.
My business closed down and I made a massive loss financially and same as you , my brother sold off some excess stock on eBay but now we've got tax people after us for potential tax evasion. I can't cope with the stress!.
I would definitely do it again, BUT only if I was rich enough to do it as a hobby !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( Plus I'm too poorly now but was always a little dream to own a shop that was purely art and spiritual)...
As for you, you certainly have the talent...
Do you do craft shows, summer events etc? Can see you in a gazebo on a nice sunny day if not in a shop haha...
