mellifluous cooing of the Indian koel
enlivening in wee hours of the morn
infusing in soul voids deep joy until
crows croak found tranquility shorn

narrow and prejudiced is our vision
discriminating against the jarring note
condemning without seeking permission
from heart that unconditional love emotes

moment to moment we keep on judging
oblivious to divine beauty below the skin
stuporous attention thus keeps oscillating
within narrow orbits we continue to spin

are our responses merely reflections
mirroring the others aura odour

save the monk, ever engaged in prayer
unstable are lesser souls attention

On her birthday, her father gifted her with a manuscript
Meditational insights, he could not as yet publish
The treatise was titled ‘Truth of Life Decrypt’
‘Read by touch’ he urged ‘start to finish’

Life is a flow; thus, do not try to hold
Rather, surf over the waves in celebration
Explore wonders yet untold, be fearless and bold
With mindful eye, feel sensations of offered vibration

Analysis is paralysis, all that is, is pure consciousness
Clear light dawns in aliveness of vibrant silence
Recognise the trinity of our innate awareness
Centred in heart as bubbling innocence

Feel the rhythm of breath as life in-pours
God Himself breathes life into this feeble form
Cessation before exhalation can open hidden doors
Melding self therein, we feel a gentle, benign bliss storm

Such was the hypnotic synopsis of the books preface
Inviting her to contemplate, reading between lines
Fears and desires the nemesis, life not a race
Boundless joy is ours, if with love we align

Now not merely reading, she is so living
Meditation her default ever flowing orientation
In God trusting: imbibing, assimilating and releasing
Distilling each impulse by the omnipresent love vibration

impressions crystallise, shaped as our words
expressions we realise, mere symbols feeble
prayerful heart, by touch going deep inwards
delineates ineffable emotions through parables

each life sensation both immediate and intimate
enlivened in loving hues by our radiant heart
presence flutters, to subtle joy tremors gyrates
invisible flickers signal when bliss ignition starts

there is no way to freeze the frame of life vibrant
thus we attempt not, our soul in the void release
softening attention, to nuances of silence sentient
affirming as we please, like a gently flowing breeze

Within form, a blue hole ethereal
Connects us with Gods divine vibration
Enigmatic throat chakra enables
In-pouring of grace by resonation

Only the pure of heart, may pierce the veil
For the orifice is small and narrow
Feral elements cannot therein sail
Nor fearful hearts, worried about morrow

Blue hole mysterious, rainbow colour
Seemingly setting tone for the twilight
Hues red, orange, yellow and green lower
Blue transitions to violet, clear light

To go through the blue hole, we must dissolve
Surrendering ego, ready to die
Thus twice born, we live on and soul evolves
As consciousness reaches for yonder sky

Even in the most sunken vibration
When darkness seems to hold sway over mind
We may reclaim our innate elation
No sooner we rest narrow thoughts that bind

Each half-breath is marked by a poignant pause
Void wherein duality has no hold
Abiding therein, there remains no cause
To stagnate amidst thought patterns of old

Amplification of love pulsation
Becomes then the only doership we do
Vivified by gentle bliss sensations
As heightened rapture within does renew

We be to become, core essence of bliss

Attractions and aversions, stun and shun
Free will signals, an option resisted
But does earth feel bound, orbiting the sun
Equanimity shaken when tested

Dynamic stillness seems to hold the key
We remain calm, although attention sways
Embrace and release in serenity
In but not of the world, as we do play

Imbibing vibrations by resonance
Mindful eye burrows deep into the void
Until attaining natural balance
Determined by soul presence, overjoyed
