If a person can go from being handicapped to being non-handicapped, then there is a possibility the person can eventually be on their own.

In the case you mentioned in post #28, if a person is getting disability and then gets cured, they generally can get Welfare to tide them over till they can find a job. If the person decides to go for retraining/education, there generally is a considerable amount of money available for them so they can do that.

Ask a person who has been disabled if they would be up to the challenge and you might be surprised the answer you might receive.

Lest anyone should think this is mac coming up with the usual hypothetical stuff I am in the situation where I could - would like to - ask the help of a healer friend for someone very close to me. Someone I believe might greatly benefit but someone whose hopes I am unconfident about building.

I am, however, now certain I would need to seek prior permission/approval. It's the right way.....

Before anyone does any type of Healing on a person you have to have their consent to do it.
They have to be open enough to receive it otherwise it wont work

I have no view - I simply don't know as I'm not a healer.

And although it's not part of this conversation, animals appear to be able to benefit from healing energy yet can't convey their prior permission. It may not be obvious they're open to receiving it but it could be they're never closed to it either ....

The word 'healing' may be a misnomer and it's why I often prefer to say 'healing help'.

In spiritual healing terms it's not necessarily a cure for a condition. It can be a lessening of symptoms, a respite from them, some temporary relief from nagging, incessant pain. Belief - active willingness to accept - isn't essential but may help the transfer of healing energy. I don't know this stuff 'cos I ain't a healer....

To repeat, I'm not a healing channel - why isn't all that mentioned by those who are?

If a person heals half way ---sure they can say that...if that is their belief system
that God heals partially...that's not mine.

Over a decade ago, my dog got hit by a car. He laid in the street lifeless. Later, a neighbor saw him and called by phone to tell me what he had found. I rushed home and took him to the vet. X-rays revealed he was dying. After running up a large vet bill, the vet recommended taking the dog home to die.

Later on, I had a conversation with the vet. The vet claimed it was me, not her, who did healings to the dog, and he lived. Even today, the dog has no signs of ever being hit by a vehicle.
