Thanks.

DN 14 Mahâpadāna Sutta

Not only himself, but previous buddhas were called Bodhisattas before buddhahood.

Resolve for Bodhi

There are many Mahayana texts on developing the altruistic, selfless motivation and practices for being a bodhisattva now and in future lifetimes.

This is just one example, but it has a commentary by a real Bodhisattva, Master Hsuan Hua. Enjoy, learn and practice!

We've had this conversation numerous times and I've provided Dharma Teachings for you to study. I personally didn't come to this conclusion, Buddhist Scholars did, using ' Common Sense ' and The Cannon

That is the opinion of various people and it is not a sutra.

If you remember, you always ask for a sutra. You claim if it is not in a sutra, then it is not true. But now, you seem to imply that sutras are not reliable and they might even be wrong.

Which carries more weight: opinions or a sutras?

If you can not provide a sutra to support your position that claims that "you seem to imply that sutras are not reliable and they might even be wrong", that is okay. Let's leave it at that. No need to answer unless you have found a sutra to support your position.
