A sad tree

Is there any such thing?

I went to a different college campus today and I saw very big and beautiful trees. But I think one of them was very sad.... I was doodling in an area surrounded by four big trees when I started to feel deeply saddened... And I kept getting drawn to one particular tree. So my question is can trees really be sad and why? It didn't feel like it was having just a bad day, whomever it was... Was very depressed for some time. And it felt a bit lonely but more sad than anything... I totally wanna cheer it up!

And how do you cheer up a deeply sad tree? I took pictures of it and if you guys want to see it I can see if I can post them on here.

I gave it imaginary and I'd do it again too!

Who knew trees can be so totally different from each other... There was another tree that had a swollen looking trunk and had huge spikes on its branches! It was quite intimidating.... I still wanna hug it though... When I tried to connect with that one I just felt intimidated. Not sure if it was because that's how it wants to be viewed as or if it was my visual perception of it affecting my feelings of it.

I always thought trees were happy and/or content with life... Like lime tree I totally miss hugging him! Even though it has only been a day since I hugged him! Lol

Its easy to put our own feelings into other things... Trees cant "feel" "sad".... but I do know what you are suggesting. Lots of trees are stressed stricktly due to growing conditions. They can definitely be STRESSED though.

To make it simpler for you to understand, it would probably rather be in a proper forest, and in air that isnt as dirty as ours is.

Ummm there are no forests where I live, just many small/big trees. Not enough to make a true forest. So I just talk to my lime tree and he always seems to be in a good mood. I even get lots of hugs from him when I hug him! Or when I ask for hugs cause I had a bad day.

But I think trees do feel, and have personality. And the air where I live isn't too bad, my brother and my mom and even my grandparents asthma problems pretty much vanished when we moved here :) they still have asthma but they don't need to use the machine every day.

And I have felt a stressed out tree too! Like when it was 90+ degrees hot every day! Whenever I would get in touch with lime tree I would feel very very heavy, mostly my arms.... They felt like they were going to fall off. Then I kept getting an image of many limes falling off the tree. I didn't understand it at the time until a few days later and there were a ton of limes laying on the floor!

Then I felt lime tree right when it was raining for a whole week on and off. And I could feel the energy flowing through its branches. And my body felt so much lighter and happier. Lime trees branches felt like there we're little bits of excitement, happiness, and life flowing through it. Lime tree was very happy :).

But this feeling I got from a different tree was not stress, just sadness... Unless it was picking up on a spirit person :( poor spirit person... I hope he gets lots of hugs until he/she feels better! Just saying, I didn't feel heavy and thirsty or anything... My lime tree has told me it is very thirsty on many occasions :) I love my lime tree! So glad it tells me these things!

I once had an experience with a Hamadryad (a Tree Nymph) that was very sad.

@time Huh? Trees can be happy without a forest :/ besides as nice as forests are they can be quite difficult to live in... Especially for short trees. Besides it's like saying a person is depressed because there aren't any people around. While it may be true it is not he only reason why someone is depressed. Even if there are a million people around, it does not stop a person from becoming depressed :/ and just because there are people Round doesn't mean they Re your friends, or that they will talk to you

@thunder bow how is the tree reflecting me? I am not sad or depressed. Stressed yes, from all the school work but not depressed :/

Trees absorbs what is reflected around them.
You may simply be feeling some emotional residue left by another person around the area or right at the particular said tree.

If some degree of ability of an empath is active in you,
take a moment to close your eyes, feel everything around you,
and simply visualize beyond that feeling/reach out,
then, try and touch the tree.
See if you pick up anything, take note of what you also dream later.

Don't forget to be in good spirit.

Trees are living beings...sentient beings.

Choose a book that brings you joy and sit beneath this Tree and read aloud to it--since it is a College Campus...I doubt anyone will even notice.

However--the Tree will and you might be able to cheer it up.
