There are hotels that dont offer TV in their rooms. And this could be a beginning of a new trend.

Some owners think that their guests much rather would enjoy the breath-taking views from their bedroom. Others think that rooms without TV promote deep rest.

Many hotels now offer complimentary in-room Wi-Fi (in public spaces) so there is ample opportunity to watch content in the comfort of your room without a TV.

However, observations from hoteliers on guest behaviour suggests content consumption isnt as commonplace as you might expect.

I used to like watching TV in a hotel room when it was a CRT SET.. Now I could care less as I do not like these flatscreen things........

I never watch hotel TVs. I never really understood why the rooms come with a TV, particularly now that everyone has their own devices to consume content.

Yes. I don’t watch that much telly anyway and don’t generally stay in hotels either. If I do it’s only for a night or so.

Of course, because I can bring my iPad with me.

But turning on the television in a different country can be interesting.

Seems I'm in the minority LOL..
I would need the Tele and I don't watch anything other than on the TV screen.
Can't see the point of having to squint my eyes on a tiny little phone to watch something, or even a 7 inch I pad screen etc when I can view on a great big whopping 40 incher haha.
