black dots during meditation

What does it mean to see black dots during meditation? What is it?

Black dots mean you entering a higher consciousness during meditation. Say if your breathing from the lower stomach area, you will then be able to breath through the higher portion of the stomach area.

This goes on to breathing to the upper chest area, which is the highest consciousness one can achieve, during meditation. Though we might see the black dot, we still have to go through it.

The breath indicates where we are currently at in our consciousness. Breathing through the mouth is the lowest. Some might be able to breath through the nose during the day, but breath through the mouth at night, due to the lower vibrations during night times, also the moons gravitational pull.

Hi annabelle,

I think it's important not to get attached to the meaning of these things, whether they be positive or negative. In the moment I find it best to accept and thank whatever it is in the moment and focus back on the meditation, as you don't want to start expecting black dots to appear every time you meditate either, as it's easy to start using that as a reason for a meditation to be good or bad. There is no such thing as a bad meditation really ;)
