Cold. -7°f now. We're going to see a high of +4°f has been like that for the last week. But the sun's out

The high today was 79 F. Mixed of sun and clouds. Became sunnier later during the day.  |

It is 34 degrees here this morning!!!
Here on the tropical lower Texas coast we have had an unusually long cold winter and folks around here are just not used to this! 
I'm certainly not! .....I gotta say that the Sandals Resort in Montego Bay Jamaica is sounding pretty swell to me right now!

Its 7:45pm here and its dropped to 30 degrees now and ice is forming on everthing!!!
And the weather folks say it could get into the low 20's tonight... 
This never happens here!!! Just nuts!
So much for global warming 
And my wife is having a fit outside trying to cover up all her tropical plants.....sigh!

Very funny Hallow!! You're in Wisconsin right? So youre used to this....we're not!
Today is the first time ive been able to get to my office since last Friday!
We've had sub-freezing temperatures since this past weekend and people bere in the tropical.climate of the lower Texas coast are just not used to dealing with this sort of cold!
18 degrees a couple of mornings ago!!!
Lost power...lost water.
Luckily the Kohler standby generator i put in a few years ago (for hurricanes....not this!) Worked like a charm and we always stockpile water. (Again for hurricanes)
And the newsies say we've got another round of arctic blast coming!
