I've never read this book. However, I did buy the eBook Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland by Melinda Duchamp. It's a parody on the original, and quite funny.

I haven't read much of it (too many other books vying for my time), but for those of you that are faster readers than I, it's worth it for a laugh

My wife read the books last October.

We're planning on seeing it when it comes out. Probably not opening day, but sometime after it comes out.

I think i remember Oprah saying the filthier the movie the better! Hahaha.

haha...I'm glad you enjoyed the Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland! I think that most likely would ruin the movie for me. I would look for it after I watch the movie! :)

Hey abaddon,

Oprah??? lol, that be funny to hear her say that!!

Now that you mention it, I'm going to watch it with my friend I'm pretty sure she would enjoy it too. I doubt my husband would want to see it, he think is a girls movie. Is your wife pushing you to see the movie?? or you think is going to be an interesting movie?

Let's just say it's not a movie I'd choose for myself, haha. But she's not being pushy; she asked if i wanted to go see it with her and I said sure! She did leave me an out though:she said if i changed my mind she would just go see it with a girlfriend. I might take her up on that!

(Quick, funny story: when i saw fifty shades of grey the first time on Amazon, i thought it was a philosophy book. You know,50 shades of gray, nothing is black and white, haha. Quickly realized it wasn't.)

Here is the link to the Oprah quote I remember hearing/reading somewhere):

I enjoy erotic literature and quite liked the books, I would say read the books first as the movie is suppose to be very tame and not as good as the books, books are better cos you can use your imagination more lol

Well at least she gave you an escape route! You where somewhat close to the title than me, lol, the first time I heard of 50 shades of gray I actually thought they where talking about art. I was way off...... After I saw the first trailer I realized I'm not even close! But I do think the movie is very interesting and I think guys would enjoy it too! Hopefully my friend go with me, cause I'm not going by myself, I think that be a very awkward moment!

Thanks for the link!
